'You've no clue what's going on medically' Jennifer Aniston on 'hurtful' pregnancy rumours
JENNIFER ANISTON addressed the fascination into her personal life and how assumptions about her having children were "really hurtful and just nasty".

Hollywood legend Jennifer Aniston, 52, has opened up on the impact of being famous and how having her private life scrutinised by the world has affected her. She rose to fame as Rachel Green on sitcom Friends, and has since become a global icon.

But she believes there should come a point where people should know when to draw the line with baseless assumptions.
In a new interview, the actress admitted the rumours surrounding her not having children were "really hurtful and just nasty".
"People certainly project onto you and all that," she began.
"But my job is to go, 'Listen, I’ll show you what I’m capable of, and you decide if you want to subscribe.'

"So, you disappear as much as you can, you have fun, you take on these weird roles, you don’t give a s**t, you enjoy yourself, you remember that you have a gorgeous group of friends and your life is blessed and you do the best that you can."
Jennifer admitted she used to take it all "very personally", focusing on one area of her life in particular.
"The pregnancy rumours and the whole, 'Oh, she chose career over kids' assumption," she sighed.
"It’s like, 'You have no clue what’s going with me personally, medically, why I can’t... can I have kids?'
"They don’t know anything," she added.
"It was really hurtful and just nasty."
She went on to explain how women's values are tied to their marital status and whether or not they've procreated.

She used singer Dolly Parton as an example, who doesn't have children.
"Dolly Parton never had kids," Jennifer told The Hollywood Reporter.
"But are people giving her s**t for it?
"No, no one’s tried to put her in a white picket fence."
Debating whether men have escaped that sort of judgement, she branded it a "double standard", and not just in her industry.
"Men can be married as many times as they want to, they can marry [younger] women in their 20s or 30s," she exclaimed.
"Women aren’t allowed to do that."
