E Street rocker Clemons undergoes back op
CLARENCE CLEMONS, saxophonist in BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN's E STREET BAND, is recovering after undergoing back surgery.
Clemons went under the knife in a New York hospital on Wednesday (13Jan10) to correct an unknown problem.
On Friday (15Jan10) the 68 year old was well enough to log onto to Twitter.com to update fans on his condition. He wrote, "We can dance again. Bless the people in Haiti."
He followed the Tweet with a statement to the Associated Press that reads, "(I'm) looking forward to a brighter future and playing more music!"
The E Street Band is currently resting after a grueling two-year tour.
