'Sad and deflated' Ben Shephard 'trying to stay patient' after surgery in candid update

Good Morning Britain presenter Ben Shephard has updated fans in a candid Instagram post today. The Tipping Point host joked that his leg looked "sad" and "deflated".
Ben updated fans on his health progress after having an operation on his leg in July.
The gameshow host had badly severed the nerves in his knee during a football game.
The presenter tore his meniscus, ruptured his ACL and fractured his leg.
Now, Ben has taken to the picture-sharing site and shared details of his progress, which he accompanied with a video.

In view of his 482,000 followers, the GMB presenter shared a clip of himself exercising while using a step platform.
Ben could be seen jumping from the fitness board and landing on one leg.
He wrote: "Lots of people asking how the knee is so thought I’d post a couple of clips from today.
"I’m five months post #ACL surgery and still working hard with @symmetryperformance.
"Things are definitely getting more dynamic which is exciting."
Ben continued: "It’s incredible how these simple moves take so much concentration and trust in the knee being strong enough.
"I’m starting to run faster, but still in short bursts, but the real focus is on lunges, deadlifts and building my quad back up - which still looks like a sad deflated saggy whoopie cushion compared to the good leg!
"It’s getting there though. Just trying to stay patient."

He added: "The most exciting news is I’m starting to swing a golf club again - cautiously of course, but I’m hoping to be embarrassing myself on a tee somewhere very soon!"
The GMB presenter was swiftly inundated with comments as he was praised for his progress.
Paddy McGuinness wrote: "I’m in for mine February. Looking good pal."
The Top Gear presenter pulled out of Soccer Aid 2021 in September after he suffered a leg injury.
