Dan Walker, 44, and his family had a busy weekend celebrating his daughter Susie's 14th birthday on Sunday. Having spoilt her rotten, the BBC Breakfast host and his wife Sarah went above and beyond to make it special, decorating the house and making her favourite sprinkles chocolate cake - something he had significant interest in from his BBC colleague.
No chance!
Sharing some snaps of Susie's big day to Twitter, Dan gushed over his "amazing, gorgeous, kind and wonderful" daughter.
He continued: "She wanted waffles for breakfast, a chocolate brownie cake with sprinkles for later & some brown converse high-tops (which are surprisingly hard to find)."
Directing is attention to his fans, he added: "I hope you have a lovely Sunday."
Having looked through the images, Radio 2's Nicki Chapman was stunned at the tasty chocolate cake and asked Dan for a huge favour.

"Happy Birthday Susie!" she sang.
"Have a super day and please save me some of that cake."
Dan thanked her for her kind words but made it very clear she wouldn't be getting any cake out of it.
"Thank you... no chance," he laughed.
Others were also impressed with the homemade dessert, with one penning: "Sprinkles!!!! Turns everything it touches into a party!! Happy birthday Susie."
Another agreed: "Nothing beats a homemade Birthday Cake. Very impressed at your cake baking skills Mr Walker, another hidden talent?"
Elsewhere, Dan was left in hysterics after BBC weatherman Matt Taylor's awkward on-air gaffe last year resurfaced when Rick Astley wished him a happy birthday.
The forecaster was left mortified and red-faced after he admitted he isn't a fan of the singer, completely unaware that the 80s pop legend was listening in.

But as Matt celebrated his 45th birthday on Friday [4 June], the memorable moment prompted Astley to send his biggest fan some much needed birthday wishes.
Taking to Twitter, he penned: "Couldn’t let this day pass without wishing my number one fan Happy Birthday."
While drenched in sarcasm, his post was well received by Matt who praised him for being so generous.
"You really are the kindest! Thank you very much Rick. All the best sir. Matt (officially your biggest fan!)."
In a separate tweet, he added: "Proof (if ever it was needed) that @rickastley is one of the kindest and most generous people around!"
Dan weighed in on the sweet exchange, having watched the awkward yet hilarious moment go down on-air.
Summing it up in a simple word, he commented: "Wonderful," alongside a laughing emoji, while fans also couldn't contain their laughter.
BBC Breakfast airs weekdays at 6am on BBC One.
