NAGA MUNCHETTY has defended her co-star Charlie Stayt after being branded "rude" by a viewer after an exchange he shared with his colleague.
BBC Breakfast: Naga Munchetty recalls her ‘anxiety dream’
Naga Munchetty, 46, has reacted to a viewer on Twitter who was not impressed with Charlie Stayt, 58, during a recent on-screen back and forth between the pair on BBC Breakfast. It comes after Charlie had branded his co-star "tiresome".
The presenting duo had discussed a news article about dreams when Naga began to describe a recent dream she'd had.
But Charlie cheekily pretended to not be interested as Naga folded her arms and looked at the camera.
Taking to Twitter, a viewer hit out at the Breakfast presenter as his co-star attempted to defend him.
The person in question wrote: "I think what Charlie just did was so rude, but you handled it well.

"It's a shame you can't be paired with someone who can share your energy."
The Breakfast host came to her colleague's defence as the pair often share on-air banter on the programme.
In view of her 251,000 followers, Naga penned: "Hi... It's all in jest! I love working with Charlie."
It comes after her co-star explained that an article revealed how having strange dreams is a good sign.
Responding to this, Naga began describing a dream she had had in which her tooth fell out.
She said: "I had that dream the other day, it's not that odd a dream, where a tooth came out.
"And I'm sure there's a common reason for it, it's like an anxiety dream."
"What were the circumstances?" Charlie asked.

Naga replied: "The tooth just came out and I was really traumatised by it.
"I pulled it out and then I was looking at it, thinking can I put it back in and then I dropped it on the floor.
"And then I woke up quite distressed that I had a big gap in my teeth."
Charlie responded with a dig, saying: "Do you know, some people find it really, really tiresome when people tell them their dreams."
He went on: "No, it's one of those things, if some people are really interested - 'I had a weird dream,' 'Did you, what's that?'
"But other people find it really, really tiresome."
Naga folded her arms and looked away from her co-host following the cheeky dig.
BBC Breakfast airs daily on BBC One at 6am.
