On his Instagram page is a statement revealing the account is no longer active, saying: “Account no longer active. Legacy of stories from David Attenborough & A Life On Our Planet team,” it reads in his bio.
“View highlights to follow inspiring accounts,” it concluded.
The documentary filmmaker joined the social media account on September 24 shortly before his new film A Life on Our Planet was released on Netflix.

“In case you’re wondering, ‘we’ are Jonnie and Colin and we worked with David on A Life On Our Planet.
“So, as well as sharing the messages he’s recorded especially for this account we’ll also post some exclusive clips and behind the scenes content.
