Former Countryfile presenter Julia Bradbury, 48, previously posed naked amongst 750 plastic bottles to promote awareness about recycling. Now, Julia has insisted she has no regrets with posing nude and says her family at home are all open to the idea of being naked. “We are very open about that. I think you need a healthy attitude towards nudity,” she told The Mirror. My kids were proud of the image – they saw it. It doesn’t mean anything to them as they see me walking around naked all the time.
It’s not something that bothers me.
“They are far too young now to be talking about body image, but it does key into that in these early stages, and the, ‘What are the differences between boys and girls and men and women?’
“It’s not something that bothers me. You see almost naked people on the beach.”
She added of her naked picture: “Clearly I wasn’t doing it from a sex bomb point of view.”
Julia has seven-year-old son Zephyr and four-year-old twin girls Xanthe and Zena with her husband Gerard, 60.
The television presenter tied the knot with Gerard at a low-key ceremony in 2000.
The mother-of-three recently gushed over her husband as she praised his parenting skills.
She told Hello! Magazine: “Gerry’s a very loving, caring parent, and his cuddles are as important as mine.
“If I’m on the other side of the world or on a shoot up a mountain and you can’t get me because my phone’s off, he’s the go-to daddy.”
During the same interview, Julia discussed how she coped with working away from her family for a period of time for filming.
“I missed them, of course, and felt pangs of guilt rather than an overwhelming sense of it,” she added.
“I don’t buy into guilt. It can be a very negative emotion, and it clearly wasn’t going to help as this was a job – I had to do it.
“You have to make peace with yourself and get on with it.”
Elsewhere tonight, Julia and Sir Trevor McDonald, 79, front ITV show Britain’s Greatest National Treasures.
The presenter shared a picture of herself alongside Trevor during filming for the show in view of her 41,000 Instagram followers.
