Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal reunite for When Harry Met Sally 30th anniversary
MEG RYAN and Billy Crystal reunited last night for a special screening of their movie When Harry Met Sally to mark the film’s 30th anniversary.
Meg Ryan was reunited with her former co-star Billy Crystal last night for the 30th anniversary screening of their famous movie When Harry Met Sally.
The pair, who played Harry Burns and Sally Albright in the 1989 Oscar-nominated film, posed for pictures on the red carpet at the Californian event to mark three decades since the film's release.
Meg, 57, wore a stylish black suit, with a shirt and tie, for the screening which took place at a Hollywood theatre during the TCM Classic Film Festival.
She wore her hair in tussled loose waves and added glamorous details to her chic ensemble with a pearl bracelet and diamond earrings.
Her co-star Billy, 71, opted for a collarless navy suit with a black round neck top and smart black trainers.
Ahead of the first showing of When Harry Met Sally at the annual film festival, the pair took to the stage, along with the film’s director Rob Reiner, 72, to speak about the movie.
In the film, which won a BAFTA for Best Original Screenplay, Meg and Billy’s characters meet and fall in love in New York City.
Meg provided one of the most famous scenes in cinematic history, when she, fully-clothed, faked an orgasm in the middle of a restaurant to prove the point that men can’t tell when a woman is faking one in the bedroom.
Following her performance, a diner quips, “I’ll have what she’s having”, providing one of the most memorable movie lines of all-time.
