Lucy Verasamy warns of a FROSTY start to 2019
Good Morning Britain and ITV weather star Lucy Verasamy, 38, said she’s been asked out multiple times by men after appearing on TV. Spilling all, she said: “I tweet a lot at work. I’ve got over 100,000 followers,” adding she is usually predominately quizzed about the weather. But she’s also received other requests, adding to Stylist magazine: “I have had men ask me out too.
It’s weird because people often think they know me
“It’s weird because people often think they know me because they see me on TV all the time.”
Lucy previously revealed she gets both positive and negative comments on social media following her on-air broadcasts.
But the brunette beauty said she refuses to let any criticism get to her.
She told Daily Express: “I get comments saying my arms are lovely and toned and others saying I look too thin, you can’t do right for doing wrong.
“But if the comments are offensive in any way I’ll delete them, I have no tolerance for that.”
The forecaster went on to say she developed a “thick skin” to ignore any negativity.
She added: “They just want a reaction out of you.
“I have developed quite a thick skin, which is something you have to have.”
Thankfully for Lucy, the presenter’s appearance is regularly praised by her social media fans.
Last week, she stunned in a tight-fitted white top while delivering the latest weather forecast and was inundated with compliments.
The forecaster beamed for the camera, showcasing her glamorous display.
One user cheekily commented: “Marry me.”
A second added: “Happy New Year Lucy loving beautiful you always.”
A third penned: “Gorgeous - don't care what the weather's like.”
A fourth wrote: “You always brighten the day! Xxx”
