Graeme Swann: Strictly Come Dancing star gets payback on Oti Mabuse following 'torture'
GRAEME SWANN got his payback on Strictly Come Dancing 2018 professional partner Oti Mabuse this week after weeks of gruelling training for the BBC One competition.
Strictly: Graeme gets ‘payback’ on Oti during cricket session
Earlier this week, Graeme Swann, 39, took his Strictly Come Dancing 2018 partner Oti Mabuse, 28, to an All Stars Cricket session as part of the ECB's South Asian Action plan.
Graeme taught a room full of children how to play cricket whilst Oti also attempted to pick up some skills.
The pair were seen larking around together as they took time out of rehearsing for the BBC One competition.
Oti shared many snaps and videos to her Instagram of herself and Graeme at the All stars Cricket session.
So this basically is like 10 weeks of payback
The professional dancer documented their outing together and told her 162,000 followers in one clip: “These little boys and girls are here to learn how to play cricket and dance!
“So Graeme has to teach me how to bowl today in front of the kids, but I’m nervous.”
Oti was then joined by Graeme in another video with the professional dancer saying to the camera: “So this basically is like 10 weeks of payback.”
“Tortue,” Graeme interuppted.
The former England cricketer then added: "We get a big ball and throw it,” before he threw a ball at Oti’s face.
On tonight’s show, Graeme and Oti will be performing a Quickstep to song Sing Sing Sing by The Andrews Sisters.
The pair landed in the bottom two again last week but were saved by the judges, leaving Kate Silverton and Aljaž Škorjanec being eliminated from the show.
Oti was relieved they survived another week and wrote on her Twitter following the results show: “Week 10 #TeamOMGS I remember dancing with @Swannyg66 at roehampton and saying whoever gets you will be in for a ride…
“And boy was I right. Monday morning, stilll smiling and still dancing thank you all for your lovely messages truly appreciated.”
Meanwhile, Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton have been favourites since the beginning of the series to get their hands on the Glitterball trophy.
However, they may have some stiff competition as it’s been revealed Charles Venn and Karen Clifton have a great chance of winning.
The pair’s popularity has continued to grow with the public as well as their scores from the judges which have been increasing.
Based on his social media statistics, Charles is most likely to claim the Strictly crown after his online interactions shot up a huge 233 per cent from last week.
Joe Sugg was previously on the patch to victory based on his social media presence but social media marketing company Socialbakers have revealed the YouTube sensation's interactions has gone down by a third.
Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, Omri Erel, SVP Marketing from Socialbakers said: “Charles Venn impressed with his moves on the dancefloor this week, and wowed viewers across the nation, who took to social media to voice their praise.
“Charles’ total social media interactions skyrocketed 233 per cent since last week, making him one of the most talked about celebrities on the show."
Strictly Come Dancing 2018 will air on Saturday on BBC One at 6.50pm
