Carol Vorderman: Countdown legend reveals HUGE change - 'Look what I've found'
COUNTDOWN icon Carol Vorderman, who last appeared on the popular Channel 4 game show in 2008, let her 17,000 followers in on a little secret when she took to Instagram to unveil her second hometown.
Carol Vorderman told fans she was splitting her time between Cambridge and Bristol when she shared a picture of herself in the latter city to Instagram.
Countdown legend Carol, who starred on the Channel 4 show between 1982 to 2008, thrilled followers when she announced the news.
Beside a picture of herself posing outside a laboratory, Carol wrote: “So I’ve tried setting up an Instagram Story - epic fail.
“So you’re just getting individual pictures instead! I half live in Cambridge now and look what I found - Cambridge Gin Laboratory.”

The surprising news delighted fans, who reside in east England city, with one writing: “Hold on I live in Cambridge.”
Another added: “I might of punched air a little bit when I found out you part-time live in Cambridge.”
A third enthused: “Cambridge is a quirky place to live. It has interesting places to visit.”
Carol, 57, dressed down for her visit to Cambridge Gin Laboratory, protecting herself from the autumn breeze in a dark puffer jacket.
She also sported skin-tight leggings, which showed off her incredibly toned pins and highlighted her svelte frame.
To finish, Carol rounded of the look with bright blue trainers and wore a neon shirt underneath her coat.
In a second photo, Carol took a selfie inside the laboratory and gushed about her unusual surroundings.
“I think I may need to do a few experiments here in the future. Pass the junipers,” she quipped.
The image went down well with fans, many of whom flocked to her comment section to gush about the star.
One admirer swooned: “So stunningly beautiful,” while another added: “Stunning photo, you look amazing.”
Someone else praised: “Beautiful, what a lovely lady.”
Hours earlier Carol shocked fans when she posted a side-by-side picture of her and her daughter Katie.
Speaking about the likeness between her and Katie, Carol described the image as “spooky”.
She wrote: “We are laughing about this spooky likeness. Me aged ten in blue dressing gown in 1970 and my daughter Katie aged ten in 2002 in the grey coat.”
Fans could not believe their eyes and were very vocal about the resemblance between mother and daughter.
One person laughed: “You look identical,” while a second gushed: “She’s very lucky to have your genes.”
