JAMIE Oliver told yesterday how he ploughed £12.7million of his own money into his struggling restaurant business after being given just two hours to save the company.

The chef revealed how close the Jamie’s Italian chain came to collapse last September. He said: “I had two hours to put money in and save it or the whole thing would go to **** that day or the next day.
"It was as bad as that and as dramatic as that."
"We had simply run out of cash.”
Oliver – who is worth an estimated £150million – has since closed 12 of his 35 restaurants with the loss of up to 450 jobs.
